Things to know if you're a New Owner in Silver Mill

GUEST SERVICES

If you need to report a building issue:  contact the 24/7 Guest Services Department at extension 4000 (970-496-4000).  For in unit issues, please contact our Property Management Company.

CABLE TV & INTERNET

Cable TV and Internet service is provided by Xfinity.  If new owners would like to upgrade the standard service provided by Silver Mill, i.e. DVR service, faster internet, additional boxes, they should contact Xfinity directly to subscribe to the upgrades. To access the internet service:

     Network Name:  SilvermillXXXX (where XXXX is your unit number)

     Password:            SilvermillXXX (where XXXX is your unit number)

TRASH PICKUP

There are dumpsters located in the parking garage as you exit the elevator to your left.

RECYCLE

There are recycling bins are located next to the trash dumpsters in the parking garage as you exit to your left.

POOL, HOT TUBS, SAUNA, FITNESS STUDIO (8 AM - 10 PM)

Three hot tubs and a sauna are located on the first floor of the building. A pool and additional hot tubs are available for your use at Dakota Lodge, which is located directly in front of the Dercum Square Ice Rink/Mini-Golf Course.  Towels are not provided, please bring your own. Glass is not allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The fitness studio is located in the garage in the area directly behind the elevators.You will find access key cards on the hooks next to your condo entry door.

BARBEQUE GRILL (8 AM - 10 PM)

A gas grill is located at the hot tub area.  Grilling utensils and the gas timer are located in the storage compartment directly beneath the grill.  Please leave the grill area clean after use.

ACTIVITIES ROOM

Enjoy gathering with your friends and family in our Activities Room located just off the main lobby on the first floor.  It features a pool table, large screen TV, and pub tables.

SKI LOCKERS

The ski locker room is located on the first floor.  You will need your condo keycard to access the room.  Brass keys for your locker can be found on the hooks next to your condo entry door.  Please return the keys to the condo prior to departure.  An equipment tuning bench is located in the garage directly behind the elevator.

LAUNDRY FACILITY

The laundry rooms are located on the fourth and fifth floors to the left as you exit the elevator.  Detergent dispensers are located in both laundry rooms.  A change machine is located in the fourth floor laundry room.

TRANSPORTATION

The bus stop is located on the North end of the Dercum Square ice rink/mini-golf course.  The current route schedule is located at the bus stop.  For more information, please contact Transportation at 970-496-4200. PARKING

The underground parking garage is large enough to accommodate only one vehicle per condo.  Please be sure your parking permit is displayed at all times.  For more information on parking additional or over-sized vehicles, please contact Guest Services at 972-496-4000.

U.S. MAIL

There are no mailboxes at Silvermill.  Owners who show proof of ownership can receive a free mailbox at the Dillon Post Office.

BEARS

We do have bears that frequent the resort, especially in the Spring and Fall months, but also through the summer.  They typically roam at night. It is important that you not keep any food items in your car if it is parked outside, even if it is locked.  We have had several instances of bears smashing their way into the car in order to get something as simple as an open bag of potato chips.

MOOSE

It is very common to see moose in the resort area throughout the year.  They can be unpredictable, especially if it is a female with her young nearby.  You should never approach them.  Take your picture from afar!

QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.  This means that there is no outside activity allowed after 10:00 pm, including no hot tub usage, no firepit usage, and no gathering on the decks. In addition, excessive loud noise, such as large outdoor speakers, are never allowed at any time of day.  For a complete description of our quiet hour policy, review the Resources->Policies section of this website.

CONSTRUCTION AND REMODELING CHANGES

Any construction or remodeling changes you want to make to the inside or outside of your unit must follow the Construction and Remodeling Policy.
